boAt Rockerz 550
Build Quality: The build quality of the headphone is splendid. It has got a massive and robust body with thick foam providing you extra long comfort. Although it is for bigger heads and may feel bulky the over-ear design is impressive. The ear cups are closed from the sides and have a rugged finish that prevents sound leakage. boAt does not mention anything about water resistance but little sweat is okay. Totally exposure is not recommended.
Sound Quality: The Sound quality of the headphones is also excellent. It is high in bass and decent in accuracy. The clarity you get is like a premium headphone, and this one surely competes with JBL and SONY in terms of sound and bass. However, the mic quality was expected to be improved. However, it is forgivable considering it saves you some significant money. Apart from that, it has one advantage of excellent passive noise cancellation as it is an over-ear design.
Battery & Charging: The headphones are excellent in terms of battery life also. boAt claims it to last up to 20 hours after a full charge. Our tests lasted 18 hours with optimum volumes. Which is quite acceptable. You might expect fast charging but the feature is rare in headphones. Also, this is quite an older model from boAt but still exists in the market due to its quality it is a long-time champ.

Sony WH-CH510
Build Quality: The Sony WHCH510 are simple on-ear headphones with a simple design. These headphones have a respectable construction, but their overall materials are clearly of lower quality. They aren’t the best option for someone who abuses their headphones, even though they should be able to withstand some accidental drops or bumps. The headphone lack any protection against water sweat and dust.
Sound Quality: With the exception of the treble range, the Sony WH-CH510 is an averagely well-balanced pair of on-ear headphones. They produced a sound that was a little bass-heavy, but not excessively boomy or muddy. Overall, they ought to be passable for most genres, but they work best with music that has less emphasis on vocals. Noise cancellation is poor and the mic is much clear on calls.
Battery & Charging: These headphones offer decent battery life overall. Although their 36.5-hour battery life is exceptional, they regrettably take a long time to charge—more than 4 hours. Sadly, they don’t have any power-saving functions to stop the battery from draining if you forget to switch them off.

JBL T460BT
Build Quality: The JBL T460BT has a highly sophisticated and attractive appearance. The entire body of these headphones is made of plastic, and the construction and workmanship are excellent. The head area and adjustable belt contain no metal components, yet it makes little difference because JBL uses high-quality plastic. Using these headphones gives you a quality feel without a doubt. Water resistance was not tested because JBL makes no mention of it.
Sound Quality: The JBL T460BT headphones do not let you down when it comes to sound quality or bass. Because of its 32nm dynamic drivers, the bass is incredibly deep and clean. In addition to having excellent bass, it also has excellent treble and midrange. The majority of Indians favor strong bass in their headphones. Since these are earbuds, passive noise cancellation was not possible. But while on the call, the mic quality is noticeable.
Battery & Charging: You can use the JBL T460BT continuously for 12.5 hours, which is a full workday of light to moderate use. They lack passive playback capabilities and resource-saving features, so they won’t be the greatest choice for a protracted journey without access to a power source.

Final verdict
You might be surprised to see a 2K budget headphone on top. But fortunately, this is actually true. boAt Rockerz 550 is actually far better than the rest of the headphones. As there are not so many headphones in the range, SONY and JBL enter the budget headphones market and therefore they do not focus much on their budget segment headphones.
There is no doubt SONY and JBL headphones are kings in their budget but boAt is the king of lower-midrange budget for headphones. And here being a longtime player, boAt has nailed the quality, features, design, and the heart of the audience. Therefore if you want a headphone in the budget segment without ANC, great sound, High bass, and over-ear design, It is boAt Rockerz 550 what you are looking for.
The only reason for picking either of the other two options could be that you are a huge fan of the brand. The headphones have impressive sound without any doubt. But there is always a bigger fish.
